Chronically diseased people's wellbeing depends a lot on how the affected persons and their surroundings deal with the illness as well as on their attitude towards it.
Changing the perspective
We can "put our finger on the weak spots" and focus on the allegedly catastrophic situation of the diseased organ, as it is often the unfortunate case in our society. We thereby however often ignore the fact that the major part of the body is not affected.
When dealing with ill people, it is important to direct the view to the positive potentials in order to point out possibilities of leading an active and self-determined life with the disease! While treating our patients, we do not focus on "waiting for death" but on putting into practice a possibly long, problem-free and independent life.
It is very important to us to give you a positive perspective as well as mental and physical support in realising your goals.
